Getting here from the direction of Vienna

Motorway A2 exit Klagenfurt OST – follow the Völkermarkter Strasse in the direction of the centre – at the Feldmarschall Conrad Platz junction turn left. Then take the first right onto Salmstrasse, then continue straight on to Burggasse. At the second set of traffic lights turn left onto Bahnhofstrasse – at the second set of traffic lights turn left again onto 8.-Mai-Strasse. After approx. 100 m you will find the Carinthia Stadthotel on the left-hand side.


Getting here from the direction of Italy, Germany, Salzburg

Motorway A2 as far as the end of the motorway in the direction of the centre and onto August-Jaksch-Strasse. Straight onto Viktringer Ring as far as the junction with
10.-Oktober-Strasse. There, turn left onto 10.-Oktober-Strasse and continue straight on as far as the junction with 8.-Mai-Strasse. There, turn right onto 8.-Mai-Strasse; after approx. 350 m you will find the Carinthia Stadthotel on the left-hand side.


Getting here from the direction of Slovenia

Follow the Rosentaler Strasse as far as the junction with Viktringer Ring. There, turn right and continue straight on as far as the junction with 10.-Oktober-Strasse. There, turn left onto 10.-Oktober-Strasse and continue straight on as far as the junction with 8.-Mai-Strasse. There, turn right onto 8.-Mai-Strasse; after approx. 350 m you will find the Carinthia Stadthotel on the left-hand side.

Parking
We have 5 on-site parking that you can use depending on the availability. Underground car parks can be reached in 5 to 10 minutes . Discounted tickets for Domgarge are available at the front desk.
Also, around the hotel is sufficient short term parking spaces available . These can be used Monday to Friday from 6.00 pm to 8.00 am and on Saturday from 12.00 until Monday 8.00 am for free . Parking tickets outside of these hours are available on many Parking ticket machines.
If you just want to park a few minutes (up to 30 minutes) in the parking zone, the arrival time must be install highly visible (eg hand-written note behind the windshield ) . If you want to sleep a little longer you could also solve the ticket for the next day from 6.00 am (max. 3 hours possible). In Klagenfurt each mobile phone is also a parking ticket . Via SMS or app you can solve and pay your parking permit and also extend the length .
